Endurance Road Bikes - Go the Distance!

Giant Liv Defy Avail Sale Road Bike San Francisco Mateo Carlos Burlingame Palo Alto Menlo Park Redwood City

If you are one of the many cyclists out there who believe skinny-tires and drop handlebars equal pain and discomfort, think again.  There are more options than ever for riders who prefer a more-upright road biking position, who enjoy centuries, event rides and fund raising/cause rides.

Contrary to aggressive road racing geometry, Giant and Liv are designing bikes that compliment a broad range of human flexibility and morphology.  Although comfortable and tuned for endurance riding, these bikes are no means sluggish or heavy. In fact, many are well-suited for road racing because of their short chain stays and massive bottom-brackets, ensuring wicked-fast acceleration.

Defy and Contend - Leading the Pack in
Endurance Road Bikes!

With race wins in the grueling Paris-Roubaix and Milan-San Remo one day classics the Giant Defy has proved that a comfortable bike can also be a fast bike.

Perfect for centuries, event and long distance rides and rapid commuting the Defy and Contend endurance road bikes feature a relaxed geometry with compliance features which deliver a smooth, comfortable ride allowing you to ride further. As well as being lightweight, the frame is stiff where it need to be so your effort is used effectively adding speed and excitement to your ride.

Both the Aluxx aluminium and Advanced composite frames are lightweight and stiff for easier climbing, quicker acceleration and better handling. Wide range cassettes and compact crank on all models mean that you can take on any gradient with confidence.
